This technology does not need DB or big disk space because all request and results are on the fly.

Filters: Api Id / Agency Filter Id

Filters are made to give some WebSite Content control to the Agencies. Each API filter will have their own configuration in terms of the limits will have the web site.
The WebAPI will accept parameters but will return content inside the range of the API filter configuration. (See more in FAQ section)

For simplicity to Web Developers we create by default 4 filters per API key, each one having his alias (P_Agency_FilterId)

P_Apiid : The Filter ID of API Key
P_Agency_FilterId: is an \"ApiId Alias\", being unique in each API Key which help you to identify the filter conditions you want to request for properties, they will be auto generated when a API key is Created.

Only one of P_Apiid and P_Agency_FilterId is mandatory.

Note: Pay attention on which of those two parameters to use. While P_Agency_FilterIduse to be low numbers as 1,2,3... P_Apiiduse to be higher numbers like 20935

What's new in V6?

In Webapi Version 6.0, we provide our client more options which can help you to customize your output more flexibility. Below are what you can do in the new version (compared with the previous ones):

Custom number of images you want to show (only available on V6.0)
Search property base on Decree218 (only available on V6.0)
Search for only new dev property on ui (only available on V6.0)
Get info of GPS Coordinates (only available on V6.0)
Search for only New Developments using the parameter (available on V5.x) and filter configuarion (only available on V6.0)
More detailed information on transaction section of the API output.
Added New Development Ranges on fields (only available on V6.0):

- beds
- baths
- terrace size
- plot size
- built size

What's new in V6.1?

In Webapi Version 6.1, some parameters are no longer needed because the data is added by default to the ouput.

There are 2 functions affected. PropertyDetails and Search Properties.

PropertyDetails function

Using version 6.1 some parameters are no longer needed because the data is already retrieved:

Virtual Tour and Video Tour (only own properties) &P_virtualTours
\n
Sale prices and rental prices together &P_showallprices
\n
Includes the new development name &P_shownewdevname
\n
Removes the price ranges on property description &P_show_dev_prices
\n
Includes full energy rating data &P_ERShowAll
\n
Includes Gps coordinates (latitude & longitude) &P_showGPSCoords
\n
Include RTA reference for short term rentals &P_RTA
\n

So there is no need to include them in each WebAPI request.

Some extra data is included:

int_floor_space (interior floor space = usable square meters)
levels
freehold (on commercials property types)
leasehold (on commercials property types)

And some changes on property descriptions from V6.0

In version 6.0 if the description did not exist in the requested language, the English description was returned.
Now in version 6.1, if there is no description in the requested language it will return empty and will automatically include the English description in its specific data node.

Example:
Your API call includes the parameter P_Lang=3,4,7 (German, French and Russian).
If the property does not have the description in Russian. The api will return:

How to use the pagination

Each Search return a QueryId in the QueryInfo node. That QueryId is unique, and identify the search results to perform pagination.

Having the QueryId included into a next request will return the requested page number (P_PageNo) of the same Search.

How to search by property types

Using the parameter P_PropertyTypes the API will return only properties which match with the selected property types. Please see SearchPropertyTypes function for more details.

How to search by property features

Each property feature have his own parameter name, so if want to search properties having \"BeachFront\" the parameter 1Setting1=1 must be included on the parameter list.

Using the parameter P_MustHaveFeatures the API will return a filtered results based on the preference.

When an Api Key (How to Create an API Key) is generated, for easy and convenient for user,our system will generate 4 filter created by default when always will be same P_Agency_FilterId (Filter Alias):

Default - Sale
- P_Agency_FilterId = 1
- Province / Area = province where the agency is based
- Filter Type = Sale
- Price range, property types and location = No preference

Default - Rent Short
- P_Agency_FilterId = 2
- Province / Area = province where the agency is based
- Filter Type = Short Term Rentals
- Price range, property types and location = No preference

Default - Rent Long
- P_Agency_FilterId = 3
- Province / Area = province where the agency is based
- Filter Type = Long Term Rentals
- Price range, property types and location = No preference

Default - Featured
- P_Agency_FilterId = 4
- Province / Area = province where the agency is based

- Only Own properties

⚠️ Notes:

Each filter has an Advance configuration where can be set:

Output format between XML or JSON (default).
Include Decree 218 field (only affects to Andalucia)
Include all prices on Display Property Function (sale, rent altogether)
Images to return in Search result.
Picture sizes to return in Search Result and Display Property functions

Both method are available but only one can be used at the time.

WebAPI Output format

The output format can be chosen between XML or JSON, and can be done from the Filter configuration or by a parameter.

From the configuration filter page -> click on \"show Advanced Options\" and select the desired Output type:

PropertyDetails does not return the property anymore

Is quite normal as properties on the Network change very often, can be off market, or the agency being excluded, etc...

Also changes on the Filter can exclude properties. e.g.: Selection of specific Locations.

But for the next 15 days (after the property is removed from the market), the API will return it with limited data and the status.

How I configure the Filter?

Make sure IP Address after created API key same with IP Address bellow client
The filter configuration can only be modified by an Agency Admin

Most of the Agency WebSite API configuration can be done at their end adjusting the Filters. See an screenshot below:

SearchLocations does not return All locations even using P_All

This function returns Locations in the specified Province/Area Selected on the specified filter. By default, the filter is set to only the Province where the Agency is based.
e.g.: An agency based on Marbella have only Málaga province in the filter settings.

If in the filter is selected some locations, this function will return those locations.
E.g.: Marbella, Fuengirola

If is needed all locations (within the Province/s set in the filter), not considering the Location filter, use P_All=TRUE.

How I know the total amount of properties from a certain search?

Check the field \"PropertyCount\"

Identify New Developments

New developments can be filtered by the API Filter itself or by parameter P_New_Devs (see SearchProperties function)

New Developments are sent like an standard property. It means, the whole New Development is sent as an unique listing.

It can be identified by the node PropertyType > \"NameType\": \"New Development\"

E.g.:

Additionally a New Development will include the ranges of price, baths, beds, built size, terrace size, garden/plot size.

Multiple API keys with same IP

Have multiple API keys with same IP is not possible. You might need to use different filters instead.

The hosting has changed the IP

If the IP of your site has changed you can update your current API and change the IP:

Login on our app.
Navigate on the left menu to: Properties > API > API Keys.
Find the \"API Key Name\" to modify and click on the edit icon at right hand side.
Enter the new IP address and Save.
A new API key value is generated for the new IP.
Copy the new API Key and modify the website code to use the new one.

Different picture sizes

Now you can get different picture sizes on Search function and Property Details function.

Access to the filter configuration, click on \"Advance mode\" and set the size you need. (see \"Predefined Filters\" section).

Default values are:

Search Properties: Thumbnail (400px)
Property Details: Medium (1200px)

Use the API to populate a local DataBase

The WebAPI was designed to use on real time. However if you really need to populate your local database there are 2 parameters which will help you:

p_ShowLastUpdateDate=true
p_SortType=3

How?

The parameter p_ShowLastUpdateDate=true in addition with p_SortType=3 (by last updated date: most recent first), can help to identify the last property added/updated to your database.

Processing from the returned list (using pagination) until you got the LastUpdateDate with a date/time before your last cronjob were executed.

Example request:
